SEAI’s Partnership Support Manager

ORS operates as Partnership Support Managers (PSMs) for SEAI for major public bodies. The role of the PSM is to enable public bodies to improve their energy performance, identify and implement energy saving projects by establishing relationships and mentoring their assigned partners. The PSM also acts as the primary link between the public body and the SEAI. ORS has provided advice to over 40 government departments, state and semi-state bodies including the IDA, TII, IAA, Local Authorities and over 20 National Hospitals.

LIEN (Large Industry Energy Network)

The LIEN, supported by SEAI, is aimed at improving the energy performance of Ireland’s largest industrial energy users. LIEN members are companies with annual energy bills of €1 million or over. The LIEN currently has 200-member companies who employ 135,000 people in Ireland and spend €1.1bn on energy annually. ORS provides technical and strategic support to many of these large industries across Ireland by assessing their energy use and improving their energy performance.

SEAI’s Communities Energy Grant

The ORS Energy Team are evaluators and inspectors for SEAI’s Community Energy programme. Our involvement in the programme is to review, inspect and technically evaluate project applications to the Community Energy Grant scheme. The Community Energy Grants (previously known as Better Energy Communities) is Ireland’s national retrofit initiative aimed at upgrading building stock and facilities to high standards of energy efficiency.

SEAI’s Advice, Mentoring and Assessments (AMA)

The ORS Energy Team are evaluators and inspectors for SEAI’s EXEED grant scheme. Our involvement in the programme is to review, inspect and technically evaluate project applications to the EXEED grant scheme.

The Excellence in Energy Efficiency Design (EXEED) Programme enables organisations to establish a systematic approach to design, construction, commissioning and certification processes for new investments and upgrades to existing assets, in order to achieve higher levels of operational energy efficiency.
