Energy Audits and S.I 426 Compliance
ORS offers a complete range of energy audits. This can be a simple walk-through audit to a full appraisal to achieve compliance with S.I 426 of 2014. An S.I 426 Energy Audit is required if an organisation has 250 or more employees (on payroll), or if it has less than 250 employees but an annual turnover in excess of €50m and an annual balance greater than €43m.
ORS has four registered auditors on the SEAI panel of auditors for implementing S.I 426. ORS has advised many client businesses on their obligations and supported them in identifying energy saving measures to assist in meeting the requirements of S.I 426. These organisations range from large pharmaceutical companies, food production facilities, hospitals, manufacturing facilities and retail chains. Clients include the OPW; Celtic Linen, Molex, Ericsson, Integra and McHale Engineering.
ORS has extensive experience in using measurement equipment and techniques appropriate for energy audits. We can identify and analyse significant energy users and opportunities for energy savings, including large-scale energy saving projects. ORS has gained significant experience in defining relevant costs estimations for various energy saving projects and undertaking financial appraisal of such projects.
